How to connect a ground wire to a hot tub
This past winter my hot tub pipes froze and so I replaced the full piping, long story short there was a copper wire/rod that was loosely laying in by the electrical panel. The person who was helping me fix the pipes threw away the rod however, there is a place on the electrical panel that says "ground wire". I am thinking it was suppose to be inserted into this, tightened and laid on the back panel of the hot tub. IS there a need for this or should I try to find a copper wire and connect it? Or is there something I can use in place of the missing rod?

Any help will be great. Would like to get this up and running for the winter.
    Thanks

Have a licensed electrician look at this installation.
