    Severance pay negotiation
Should I write up a formal negotiation to what they offered me or should I just verbally present it in person to HR?

    Definitely in writing...

Though I've never heard of a negotiation for anyone but high level executives. And its usually in their contract.

For most people its written into the company policy... and isn't negotiable.
