    Can I be adopted?
    I need a new family. I live in Kenya. I need a family to adopt me. I live with my aunt, so I really need someone badly to make me part of their family.

    I can do many things. I can clean, I can play football, and I love playing with kids.I always wanted a little sister or brother.

    I am sorry, hon. Adoption just doesn't work like that.

    You have family that is caring for you--some children are not so lucky.

    And people who are adopting generally want to adopt a very small child or baby, rather than an older child.

    Your best bet is to do as well in school as you can and work hard to make a better life for yourself.
