    Hurting
My 21 year old daughter has a 2 year old child and is having another. I only met the first child's father once, he came to the house to sign over his parental rights. The impending child's father and her were only together two months, but not anymore. I basically took care of the family by myself. I was the provider, disciplinarian, doting parent.

I am divorcing her dad after 20 years of marriage because I must finally admit he is never going to change for the better. He's a rolling stone, but he won't leave me. There have had many times when I asked for a separation. Now I have to divorce to get him to let go. He still lives here because, ironically he says he has no place to go. I know he is counting on sympathy from me. I own the home we live in. I believe my daughter is mirroring the example I gave; a mother struggling on her own to raise a family. I have two sets of twins and one, all adults now. She is the only girl. Please, is there someone who can share some advice?

Hire a good attorney (divorce) and talk to him, depending on where you live, husband may be entitled to community property. If you were main earner, he may even file for alimony. So you need to consider all of this.

You need to help children help theirself, and start working and supporting theirself, sounds more like she is acting like father, letting you support her and her family.

Next a man can not "sign over his rights" at least in US, he can not try for custody, but unless she was remarried with someone to adopt, the father always has rights, he may have just signed to allow her full custody at this time.
