    Hot water heater corrosion on thr sides
    Water is leaking on the side of the tank from corrosion, can I weld a piece of metal to stop the leak?

    How old is you heater?

    Time to change the water heater, good luck.

    Welding will destroy whatever glass lining is left. Time to replace.
