TV keeps going to standby, why?
I have had my Emerson LCD TV for a while now (not really sure of years) but when I turn it on it will light up and then turn back off and go on standby. Does anyone know why it does that? I'm in denial that it may be time to replace it :-(

On my Windows XP system the Stanby Icon when I go to close down is greyed out, the only chang I have made to my system is to put in a new graphiocs card an ASUS GForce N6200, is this likely to be the cause, any suggestions as to what I need to do to get standby back. Thanks
