    Curly hair went straight from color left too long
    Has anyone experienced having curly hair turn straight by leaving hair color in too long? Mine is also breaking off about 3 inches from the roots. Very stressed. No other chemicals in my hair.

    I don't have curly hair, but have had damage in the past from coloring my hair in an improper manner. I've also heard of people (like Debbie Harry from Blondie) who have lost their hair temporarily from dying too often or using too harsh of a product.

    If you search online for 'repair hair damaged by coloring", there are some excellent articles on what products/ingredients in products to look for to help your fried hair until it grows back out. (The fact that it's breaking off is what most hairdressers use to decide your hair is "fried".) Hopefully you can have your curls back soon.
