    Knee problems
I'm a 47 year old female who was doing very heavy lifting when my back went out and I dropped a heavy box on my knee cap then I went to the er and they told me I had severe arthritis and chondramalacia pattellia well I never had any problems with this knee before that day. I need a opinion and answers could the 40 pound box falling on my knee cap or the heavy lifting cause these underlying problems to surface? Please give me any help you can. I lifted over 2000 pounds that morning. Please help me get answers.
