I got an engine from japan power their pretty good and all the sensors and pieces comme whit it youl need to keep your distributor all small stuff from your old engine. But their pretty good and a little bit cheaper than japan power. If your in the region close to ottawa it's your best bet.
Check it out JDM Motor | JDM Engine | JDM Parts : Japan Power INC I'm happy about my jdm d15b from them.

I think you can browse for some complaints on forums and boards.. Then decide what to do. By the way are you interested in buying parts on them?

Read this stuff to know more:

I just got a 13b twin turbo yesterday and they did not have the other parts on the order I paid 200.00 dollars extra for and then when I did a compression test the motor had less than 50psi compression(min comp. is 100psi)i called tiger and they sent me to there claims website.this morning I called there claims guy Mike because I submitted 2 claims one for the parts one for the motor and they refused the claim.when I talked to mike he said the motor was as is and would need rebuilt, but when I talked to him a week ago when I was ordering the motor I asked him how come the motor was so cheep he said that it was in fine condition and would work well.after telling him about all the problems he said that all the rotary motors they sell need rebuilt but he never said that before they got my money now he is throwing the no warranty in my face and saying the motor is as is.now I'm out 2000.00 dollars and I have no car no money and a giant 13b paper weight.if you have had a similar thing happen to you with tiger and have some help or advice I would appreciate your input. My name is Brad and email is [email protected]

You should call National Parts Wholesalers in Jacksonville, Florida.
According to the BBB (where they are listed as an A+), they are setting the bar for customer satisfaction by using amongst other things, a unique system called the Order Varification System.
No one else has anything like it.
It records all aspects of the sale from condition and warranty to mileage and price, thus protecting the buyer from getting ripped off.
Try searchparts - Low Priced Used Engines, Remanufactured Engines and most other auto parts for your vehicle to get straight talk from leaders in their industry.

Tiger Japanese had the absolute worst customer service out there. I suggest that NO ONE EVER deals with this company. Their warranty claim is a joke, the company is a fraud and a scam. I purchased a 4G63T from them that came with severe thrust bearing play. After contacting them, they told me I could return the engine but I would lose out on shipping + a 25% re-stock fee. How ridiculous is that? I'd be out $450 out of pocket through no fault of my own? They claim to inspect and compression test all of their engines but they obviously DO NOT. I wasn't expecting perfection when I placed the order, I only expected what they advertised, that is, a low mileage JDM engine that is free from internal defects. If you've been ripped off by this company then put a complaint in here: http://mwco.app.bbb.org/complaint/new/?bid=0001083862
