    Tablet is locked with a pattern and can't remember what it is and it says safe mode
    On my Android tablet there is a pattern security lock and can't remember the pattern and the tablet says it is on safe mode. Can't sign into the gmail account to get the answer either.

    Shutdown, hold the power and volume down or up button.
    Select the factory reset option.

    **You will loose all your files and settings if you do this.
    But the lock should be gone.
