    Cleaning business
I to am getting ready to start my own cleaning business here in Ohio. In my area there are not a lot of bigger cleaning businesses, I do know that there are a few of the one or two person operations. None of which are listed in any local directory. So I know where I need to first start the advertising. I have also come up with business cards and flyers/brochures. I have this whole angle down.
My problem to is the charging for the services. I have a rough idea. But I too don't want to charge too much or too little. Is there any easier way of figuring this out. I have of course begun to shop around to the businesses in Columbus, to get a rough idea. Is there a website that gives a rough across the board rates?
I know that this is a big step for anyone to do! But I know like many people out there I wish that I had at one point had a person I could get to come in and clean so that I could enjoy my life at home and not be or feel like I spent my nights and weekends cleaning.
These are the areas that I am leaning towards
    Businesses and small offices
House cleaning Maintenance, once a month, One time thorough, Spring/Fall, Rental property
    Move In/out cleaning
Can anyone help me out? I am knew to this site and I see some very good feed back so I thought I would try it.

I would suggest finding a city about the same size as Columbus and calling a couple of firms to get their prices. Be upfront with them. Tell them you are starting a business in a different city, but one comparable to theirs and you are looking for pricing help.

Another thing is to figure your costs, salaries, supplies, overhead and use that as the basis for your rates.
