    Widescreen and fullscreen dvds
When they first started making dvds, you had a choice between fullscreen and widescreen, I preferred fullscreen. Now widescreen seems to be the only kind Does anyone know why fullscreen dvds seem to have been discontinued? I'm glad newer dvd players have a zoom feature to get rid of the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

Most tv's these days are widescreen so there really is no need to format the DVD's 2 ways when the majority are watched on flatscreens.
