Can an Out of State 501(c)3 open a bank account in Texas? Are they required to file for an agent with the Texas Secretary of State?

    Hello GW:

The tax exemption is granted by the fed and it doesn't preclude the grantee from moving..

IF the organization is a corporation, then they probably need to register with the state. But, each state is different.. I'd call the Corporation Commission, or whatever they call it in Texas.
