    If it is only a form of exercise and you don't get into the religious aspect of it, it is not haram.

    Yoga can be an exercise regimen designed to increase function, strength and mobility while at the same time decreasing stress.

    Yoga as a religion seeks God and strives to be one with God through study and meditation and living a certain way.

    You can do it, any exercise also breathing exercise. Just omit the religious mantra chanting part.

    Mantra could be used for many purposes depending upon the kind of mantra,which god its refer to and what is purpose of the person who chanting. General purpose to achieve own objectives.
