    91 Honda Civic - Temperature Gauge
    My 91 Honda Civic temperature gauge goes crazy sometimes - shoots right to hot. It has been doing this for the last 3 years, seemingly whenever it's damp and between -5 and 5 degrees celsius. We took it in immediately when it first happened, but 3 places, including a Honda dealer couldn't find anything wrong. We've been living with it ever since, but would like to know if any of you have any ideas... I'm just scared one day we shouldn't be ignoring it...

    1. Remove and clean the connector and sender unit. Afterwards, spray with WD-40.
    2. If the problem doesn't stop, replace the sender unit. Should the problem still persist, replace the gauge.
