I'll label the situations 1, 2, 3 and 4.
For 1 and 2 you can use filter paper if the liquid is easily filterable.
For 1 you can let the suspension settle and then pour off the liquid from the top.
For 2 you can let the suspension settle in a vessel with a tap at the bottom, then siphon off the liquid form the bottom.
For 3 and 4 you may be able to use some kind of membrane, depending on the types of liquids you have. (mambranes will pass molecules of a certain size or smaller)
For 3 you can let them settle and then skimm off the top layer.
For 4 you can heat the solution to one of the liquid's boiling points, with a condensation chamber to reclaim the evaporated liquid. You will be left with the higher boiling point liquid in your original container.
There are many other ways that you could use, but depends on the types of materials. For instance if your solid particles were big enough you could fish them out with a spoon without getting too much liquid. Or if your particles were magnetic you could use that to retrieve them etc. All depends on what exactly you are trying to separate.
