    How to caltulate preferred dividends when you have the following information

    Preferred stock cumulative 6% R195 par

    5000 shares authorised, 1311 issued

    Common stock R1,00 par 50000 authorised

    Shares issued and outstanding 27264

    For Preferred Stock dividends simply take the percentage rate times par value of Preferred stock times number of Preferred shares issued and outstanding.
