    Why am I repeating the same mistakes?
    I've been with my girlfriend for 2 years now and I do truly care for her. I moved across the country quit my job and left everyone I knew just to be with her and make sure she is safe. But this is the 3rd time we're arguing over something I know she hates but I did it anyway. I feel bad about it but I felt bad about it the 1st time and now it's repeated it's self twice. How can I stop myself from doing something I know she hates. Even when it is so simple as just not doing it. Am I just being selfish or is there something wrong with my way of thinking?

    You are anonymous here. If you can't tell us what this dastardly deed IS, I don't know how we can advise. Eat Twinkies? Smoke pot? Watch porn, masturbate to it? Wear her clothes to the coffee shop? Text your ex?

    Yes watching porn. It's stupid I know. I don't know why I do when I've got this gorgeous girl. But it's not like I don't want to do it with her though. It's like I'm just more active than she is.

    It's not stupid. Read countless posts about it here. It's only harmful when it takes over your life, and subtracts from your ability to touch your girlfriend, and snuggle, and talk, and spend time with her, and make love to her. If she feels hurt, come back for advice.

    This seems so small in context of all you have done, but why would you make a promise you cannot keep? How does she find out about you breaking that promise? Why does she insist you don't watch porn? Or is it the difference in the graphic hard core porn, or the soft porn in HBO movies?
