    It would help if you would give a little more detail... you know things that might matter like year, make, and model... what kind of engine... does it restart after it dies... does it do anything before it dies...

    Sorry it's a 2008 bighorn 5.7 hemi 4 door ,yes it starts right up after it dies, it makes a noise "Ding" before it dies then check gauges light comes on.

    Yes... code reader will tell you everything the computer sees a problem with... will save you a LOT of time as ODB2 systems will practically tell you what's wrong with it...
