Do NOT try anything more drastic than a good buffing with a cloth and a detergent. If the glass is actually scratched, then you're better off with a scratch in it than any sort of repair opton.

I feel for you :(... I almost love my telescope more than I do my car.

What size and type is your scope?

Buff that lens best you can (with NOTHING abrasive: just cloth and a tad of dishwashing detergent) and live with it is best you can do... Thankfully it's a fairly inexpensive model... so if the view is obstructed more than you can live with, you can upgrade for a reasonable price.
