    Is it a hipaa violation for my pharmacy to send newspaper clipping to my doctor
    Can my pharmacy send newspaper clipping of a arrest to healyh provider without my consent.

    Yes they can... its not confidential medical records which is the only thing covered under HIPAA.

    I agree with smoothy. If that was a story about you in the news it certainly is not confidential information let alone medical info.
