Can cpvc be coupled to pvc pipe?
I am installing an in-line water meter. The tee is a CPVC fitting, but the water line is PVC. Can I couple the CPVC tee with the main PVC water line.

Yes you can, however you must use Oatey All Purpose Cement to do it. Don't forget to use primer, Good luck, Ton

Except they are different sizes! You will need a transition adapter to size down the pvc to CPVC size.

Yeah, I'd purchase a threaded CPVC adapter (see image) and then purchase a threaded PVC fitting for the transition!. quick and easy to do!
