Pregnant at 38. Don't know what to do.
I've just found out I'm pregnant. I already have 14 and 9 yo boys. My partner is 44 doesn't seem too keen on keeping it although he will leave the decision up to me. We have been together a year and both have kids from other people, however our relationship though loving can be rocky. I'm scared of ending up a single parent and starting over again at my age. I don't have any practical support from family. The other thing is I had surgery a few months ago to remove an ovary and borderline cancer. I am shocked to be pregnant as was being advised to have hysterectomy... although I said I dii decided to be monitored instead. Would I be crazy to keep this baby and start over again at my age?

This is very tough to answer.

I personally don't think 38 is old to have a baby, however, I am younger than you, so it may be easier said than done.

I do know this, if your partner ends up leaving because you decide to keep the baby, then he's a fool.

If you terminate the pregnancy, then you may have quilt for a very long time, or perhaps forever. That question "what if" may consume your thoughts...

There is always adoption. Have you considered that option?

Or you could have this baby and love it unconditionally and to hell with the consequences.

It really all is in your hands.

I am a single parent of three... I get by just fine and I think you would too.

I know this may not help, but it's all I have. Good luck.
