    Hi, I hope some could tell me something about an old electric coffee maker I found in my garage, the only info I have is on the bottom of the coffee maker it say's LABELLE SILVER CO.Inc. 115volts - 850 watts do not submerge in water Brooklyn 27. NY AC only cat. no.1952a automatic. I'm just wondering if it's real silver or silver platted and worth the effort to refurbish?

    It's probably chrome if shiny. If yours needs refurbishing, you probably will find that it's not worth the cost and time. A nice one might sell for about $30 - 60.
