    verify the trig. Identities
Hello, I need help on verifying the two Trig. Identities below.

    1. (1+sinx)/(1-sinx)=(secx+tanx)^2

    2.(1-2cos^2x)/(sinxcosx)=tanx-cotx

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hint for 1: multiply the left hand side by (1+sinx)/(1+sinx) and see what you get.

For 2: the numeratyor on the left side equals -cos(2x), and there are two other form of the identity for cos(2x) that you can swap it out for - one of those other forms is what you want to use.

Can you show me step-by-step on how to verify the two problems? I get extremely frustrated when doing these types of problems.
