OK so I am 21 and I am sexually active.. me and my boyfriend are trying to get pregnant but it seems like my period never stops. I had it nonstop from april-june it wasn't like super heavy but you went through tampons like candy.. it stopped at the beginning of June and I didn't get another period till July which last like a week and a half.. I'm not sure if I had one in August but me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on aug 29th and I started what I thought might have been implantation bleeding and other early symptoms like a week later well the bleeding started on sept 7 and has not stopped.. it started brown and pinkish for a few days and then would get heavy with a lot of clots.. then would slow down stop for like a few hours ad then be brown again. Then out of no where its not like heavy its just really red with clots.. I have had unprotected sex every time its stopped (4 times between Aug29-Nov2) but I keep bleeding.. is it what's causing me not to get pregnant?? What could this be??

Have you been to your gynecologist to find out why you have been bleeding this long, and if not why not?

I'm being serious... when something is this wrong for this long you should have seen a doctor... at least a month ago if not earlier...

A week into it... probibly not... 2 weeks into it you should have been thinking about it... 3 weeks into it I would have gotten an appointment... and by 4 weeks intoo it I would have already been tot the doctors. 8 weeks into its long overdue for that visit.

At 21 you might be young... but you aren't invincible... there are a number of things that might be wrong... but they need a physicians skills and likely additional tests to determine. Some of these you want to find out as soon as possible.
