    Feeling like a deaf
Hi, about a month ago my right ear was clogged, Couldn't ear things clearly. I tried ear drops thinking might have been ear wax. But after few weeks it persisted. Went to a doc and was told its an ear infection. Tool the antibiotics but still ear is clogged. Now it's been over a month an half, ear is still blocked. Not to mention my left ear started too. In other words right now both ears are clogged and things I hear is muffled. No pain, sometimes itchy and feels like something is stuck in there. Went to see a doc again, was told no earwax is visible. Got referred to a specialist and waiting... Can anyone help??

Did they look at your throat?
Your eustacian tubes might be both blocked and clogged with mucous. If inflamed at the throat end (where they empty routinely and we don't notice it if all is draining properly), they might be swollen and unable to drain.
Try a decongestant, believe it or not, and an anti-allergen/anti-histamine like Benadryl. You might not need both but try anyway.

Possibly you need your ears 'blown' to remove hard to reach wax in your ear.
