    Signal voltage
This summer when a storm came through, power went out for a period.
Afterwards my PC would not boot up even though it has power.
I literally rebuilt the PC thinking the storm had damaged it somehow.
After completely rebuilding the PC, it still would not boot.
I bought a new PC. It would not boot either even though it has power.
I discovered 1 outlet in my house that it will boot from. It will not boot from any other outlets.
I replaced the original outlet and circuit breaker. No fix.
I had an electrician come out and check the voltage.
All voltage was at 125v constant at all outlets back to the panel.
    240v coming into the panel.
What could a storm have done to whatever that a PC will only boot from1 electrical outlet even though everything seems to check out OK?
All other electrical devices seem to function OK.
The electrician was baffled as am I.
