The first one is aceitominophen with cafeine and codeine, basically a very strong pain reliever, it could be highly addictive if taken repeatedly though.

The first pill is Butalbital 50 mg, Acetaminophen 325 mg and Caffeine 40 mg, an analgesic combination used for the relief of tension headache.

Not sure about the yellow one.

Ok, look I was walking down the road and found these pills laying on the ground with no pill bottle, I think I will pick them up and take them home and maybe take them.

Come on, if you have the pills you should have the bottle they came in,
Or you can take them to your drugest if they are legal drugs for you to have.

You are buying them from someone on the street in a baggie most likely and want to make sure they are the real thing.

People just don't find loose drugs laying around and want to know what they are.

Last week a mum found pills in her older child's bedroom, and wanted to find out what they were before confronting them. I don't think its fair to assume everyone is a seller or junkie!

The reason I keep giving the answer, as I have mentionned many times, is that without the info someone might just take it anyway if they are a junkie (not implying anything about anyone I have ever answered for) and if it's a medication for seizures of the heart this could kill them or have a much worse effect than whatever they think it is.

I have noticed that over half of the people that ask to id drugs just have tylenol or ibuprofen so it's usually harmless.

Also it isn't right to assume anything by these posts, it could be parents trying to find out what a pill is in a child's room and they would definitely deserve to know if they needed to worry.

If I found pills in my child's bedroom thati wasn't aware they were taking, I would confront them anyway and ask what they were ans what they were taking them for.

If I wanted to know what a pill was I had found my child with, I would ask a pharmacy to make sure I had got the right information, rather than risk getting a wrong answer from a question and answer site.

Well that's your choice, I would hope that people who answer these questions have access to identification guides and know how to use them.

Also, the same could be true of any answer you get here, if you want to make 100% sure your getting the right answer go see a professional in the field your asking a question about. I thought this site was designed to put people in contact with people who are experts in a certain area but you have to take their answers at face value. From my part I spent 6 years as a customs agent and saw and identified pills on a daily basis so I answer these whenever I see them,

Not everyone can rush off to a pharmacy, if life were that easy people wouldn't need sites like these! I spent several years as a prison officer so have had an awful lot of experience with drugs, and needing to be able to identify them. My partner is a dr, so again has a very good working knowledge of medicines.

People use these sites to get immediate information on a wide variety of subjects, how far they want to believe this information is up to them. Its still not right to make assumptions of people being junkies if they are asking about meds. Its one possibility, but certainly not the only one.
