    Salaried employee
    I am a salaried employee. Recently my employer forced me to use 1 hour of pto because I was short of 1 hour of work due to a doctor appointment, however I worked over 40 hours that week.

    So? There is nothing wrong with an employer requring that you use part of your time off allotment if you are not going to be at work. As long as the policy is applied fairly.
