    Movie About Time Travel (Kinda)?
    There's a movie with the same idea as The Lake House, but it was filmed earlier. A man (a writer?) ends up sending love letters to a woman sometime in the turn of the 20th century, maybe earlier. I think it was filmed in the 90s.

    Sounds better because in Somewhere in Time, he travels back but does not write her any letters.
