    Dark brown black period blood
    I *think* I started my period 8 days ago.I am 22 years old and sexually active.I got a depo shot for the first time a month ago.
    I went to the bathroom at work, and looked in my underwear while using the restroom. When I looked in my underwear, looked brown black and it was very sticky, thick, and clay like. So I immediately bought a tampon in to be safe, when I got home and took it out about half the tampon was covered on black sticky blood.. and for the past 8days they've all looked like that.
    I have occasional stomach ache, but no cramps.
    Normally I have severe cramps that are unbearable which is why I am on depo.
    What's wrong with me?

    Dark brown blood would indicate old blood leaving your urterus. I don't think that is unusual.
