    Dental question
I'm 22 years old and I've had braces for four years, I'm moving away so I decided to take them off, but there are gaps in my upper mouth from where my tooth was extracted,at the right the space is about 3mm and at the left its about 1.5mm, my orthodontist is putting me on Hawley's retainers but is closed mouthed about whether the holes will ever close.

My question is; will the holes close? And if yes, how long will it take?

Sorry, but if the specialist can't give you a definitive answer, how could we possibly do that knowing absolutely nothing about your mouth and the work he has done?

I had a class II overjet, and my mouth was crowded, they had to extract from to upper jaw. My bite has been corrected, what's left is to close space
