    Is posting a memorial picture of a deceased patient a HIPAA violation?

    I will need moe information to give you an answer.

    I'll give you an example. I, as a nurse, cannot "post" a picture of a baby saying congratulations or welcome to the world, etc. That is a HIPAA violation.

    So, who are you to this patient? What was your relationship with them?
