How do I tell people I am starting a business?
I was wondering how I tell people that I am starting a business. I could always hang up posters at the local library, store, ice cream shop, and diner. But how would I release it to the public? Any tips on it to would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

The library will not allow you to hang up a poster to advertise a business, only for a non-profit or charity event.

Did you ask? I've worked in several libraries. None would allow a for-profit business to be posted/advertised.

    Again what type of business,

Flyers printed and handed to to most houses in your area.

Put flyers on cars at local shopping malls
