I have been taking the pill for around 6 months, admittedly I do miss a few here and there but still my periods are very regular.
A few weeks ago whilst still taking the pill I had light spotting for around 3-4 days, so I stoppe taking the pill thinking this was my period. The spotting then stopped, however, I then got my period or withdrawal bleeding which only lasted 4 days..
What are the chances?

1. The pill is not 100 percent effective even when taken perfectly
2. it is less and less effective, depending on how often you miss
3. Your actions make it hard to determine. You need to wait till next month and see if you miss or have that period.
4. if you miss, take a pregtnancy test.
