    I need to find out the style of my old ring.
    I received a diamond ring from my friend. I don't know how old,or what the style is called. Please help.

    Your best way to go is to have it examined and appraised by a reputable jeweler.

    Take it to a jeweler and they should be able to tell you the basics.
