Democrats seem to think that... despite the fact they are who fought against desegregation and to keep the Jim Crowe laws that hardest. Which were things the Republicans championed, not them.

In Canada maybe, we have more respect for people in the US. But thank you for yet another provocative, irrelevant contribution.

As opposed to OBama himself telling republicans to get on the back of the bus...

Don't believe he said it... well here he is on video in his own words doing it.

Obama Tells GOP "Get In Back" | Obama "Get In Back" | Video | Mediaite

And that wasn't the only time he did it.

YOu might not grasp the significance and the meaning to that being a Canadian, you would have to go back to Rosa Parks and before to understand the meaning behind being told to get on the back of the bus.

Tell any Black to get on the back of the Bus and there isn't any context you could think of that would shut the left up.

It's a two way street... he used those words... and in the context of that speech, which I have heard over and over.. he meant the very same thing as it meant to blacks when they were told right up to the late 60's they had to ride in the back of the bus.

In fact I heard him say it when he said it live on TV. And my initial thought was he did not just say that did he? Which in fact he did.

Clearly you don't grasp the connotations behind a quote like that.

Some former Yahoo news guy (former because he got fired) had a Kanye West moment and said of Republicans, "They're not concerned at all. They're happy to have a party with black people drowning."

I guess they should have not just canceled the first day of their convention, but every day and descended on Louisiana to lend a hand. Just like Obama, right?

Oh wait, he's campaigning in Virginia today and doing an online chat today "while black people drown"as David Chalian put it. Guess he had nothing better to do.

But we still just hate black people because we're racists, right?

I don't understand all the sensitivity around race on either side. I think it gets to such an extreme that, in an effort to not be racist, we become so aware of race... that it actually makes us racist!

Leave it to you righties to be so sensitive when you have been calling the guy names that smack of racism for the years he has been in office.

Maybe riding in the back would give you guys a better perspective on what its like to not have control for a while. Then you could chill and look out the window and enjoy the ride.

    Just saying.

The sensitivity on the left is political bullsh*t, I'm just damn tired of being called a racist.

Must be some of those code words only liberals can decipher. Feel free to justify your asinine remark any time.

Dude, I don't ride with anyone that leads from behind. I want the driver out front.

Both sides are sensitive about it. Racism exists everywhere and every walk of life. People are even racist amongst their own race. Nothing new.

Now that was sexist, women are not objects and this is just further proof that it isn't us waging a war on women. Stay on topic please.
