    Salary question
Is there a law that states a female should be paid the same wage as the last person hired especially if she has been there longer and has more experience than the newly hired person?

My company hired someone who is getting more than myself and few others because of his sales experience but not in our field just sales in general. I have been doing this for 12 yrs and when I was offered the job I left my old company for this one promised a pay increase which has never happened and was in the same sales field, but this guy just came on and doesn't know how our field works but is getting more than a few of us. Some one told me about a law that states men/women should be paid the same if not more than the last person hired think it was laleek, lallee law or something along that line I can't find it anywhere
