    Inducing labor
I am 38 weeks pregnant. 1cm dialated and 75% effaced. I have had menstual like cramping and lower back pain for 5 days and have stayed the same. Is it safe to try castor oil to speed the process?

Long walks, the castor oil does little to bring on labor, just a old tale.

I scrubbed the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. That worked.

The castor oil thing is an old wives' tale that just makes things worse.
