Are clay figures appropriate for hiding?
I'm 11 years old and I have some hermit crabs and I like to make clay figures with the modeling clay. Is it OK if I can make a hut out of clay let it dry and take the smell off to let the hermits play around it?

I don't think the clay will hurt the crabs. Will you be able to scrub it clean inside and out though, with something like a Tuffy or old fashioned potato brush?
