    GE frig. Model (GTH18EBTZRWW) will freeze then thaw, freeze then thaw please help
    My ge frig. Will freeze then thaw over and over. Had tech look at it. He replaced a small part on the fan motor. Did not fix problem. He left the new part,but did not charge for service call. It is used in garage just to keep drinks cold, so I won't spend a lot of money on it .it is 2 yrs old

    It sounds like the differential spring on the thermostat is bad. Replace it with a universal and make sure you expose the same amount of cap tube as is exposed on old one. Leave rest coiled up behind new t-stat.
