Purchase was supposed to be interest free!
I bought a new computer from dell in December of 2006 was told by salesperson at time of purchase that it was interest free for 18 months... the bills I am receiving are not interest free... they are trying to tell me now that the model I bought wasn't included... that is not what I was told... I called the finance company and they say to call the order department... I call them and try to get a hold of a manager and nobody is calling me back... I am pissed! Now I do not know what to do... any suggestions?

You should have a copy of the finance agreement, and that should say what the terms are. If that doesn't say anything about it being interest free and you signed it, there is very little you can do.

Are you sure the interest is being added to the balance? On some of these deferred interest deals they show the deferred interest amount, but its not actually added to the balance.

But, if the salesperson did not give you the correct info, unless you can prove that the salesperson told you it was interest free, you are out of luck.
