Is fiber gasket between sink & garbage disposal needed?
My garbage disposal was installed without the fiber gasket under the sink. Is this gasket needed?

Yup! Absolutely required or I promise you the manufacturer wouldn't give it to you... ;)

You might still be OK... just depends on luck, really! I'd install the fiber washer if it was me.
