Central a/c can be added to any forced air furnace. However, the a/c must be sized not only to the home, but also to the cfm capability of the furnace and ductwork. As long as the furnace and ductwork is sized correctly for your application, adding central air is definitely possible.

Had cold snowy days and furnace will shut off before reaching set temp. The exhaust pipes were in the direct path of the blizzard. I can't see any ice blocking but there is a large chunk that appears to be from one of the pipe.
It will run till it is at the set temp then it shuts down and has to be turned to the off position before being turned on again or it will not go. Im told this is a lock out what are possible issues
