gear carburising
Hi folks,
I have a problem. I require a set of gears (actually about 1500 pcs) to be case hardened. I have the spec of the hardened material and the material itself. However, I am being asked to what depth of the gear wheel. Material: SAE8620 (EN36) Finished hardness: HRC 56-60 Is there a formula for calculating the depth or is some arbitrary value OK? |

My toyota 98 camry can't switch form 1st to 2nd gear, Goes reverse.. Dashboard is off at the same time, no speed no rpm, no temp. please help
How do you removed the ring gear from the fly wheel and put on new one on the teeth is worn out and the starter will not turn the motor
