    A car slowed down at a constant rate from 32 meters per second to 3.0 meters per second in 9.0 seconds. Find the distance that the car traveled in 9.0 seconds...

    First find the car's acceleration (actually deceleration, since it's a negative number), from accelration = change in velocity divided by time. Then use the equation for distance given initial velocity, acceleration, and time:
