    Please use parnetheses - for the left hand side of the identity what you wrote is this:



    which clearly equals 0. What I think you meant is this:



    All you need do is merge the two fractions into one and it comes right out.

    ((cos b)/(1-(tan b))) + ((sin b)/(1-(cot b))) = sin B + cos B
