    Birth certificate
    My boyfriend and I were together when we had our son but he didn't fill out the papers to be put on the certificate and now he wants his name on there. What does he have to do to get his name on there? Were from Texas.

    You /and the father /go to the Bureau of Vital Statistics and sign a form known as Acknowledgment of paternity.
    It is easy.
