    High pitch noise only in one room ?please help
    I have just moved into a town home in PBG in Florida, since a storm, I have a high pitch noise in one room of the house.I have had a electrician here for 2 hours, no answer or solution. We have a gas heater, sound system and wall vacuum system and ranger American securitypanel, not hooked up.We have turned all th e power off,please help??

    It will be difficult for anyone here to give any definite answers as to what is causing this noise, other than providing other ideas over what you have had checked already.

    If it is a town house, are there other dwellings attached or nearby?

    Radio or TV antennas or tower?

    Main gas lines?

    Main Water lines?

    If this persists and a cause is not found, you may want to try to locate a local electrical testing firm, they should have an instrument that can detect sound and pinpoint the source, we use a Ultrasound detector to locate various electrical anomlies.

    This instrument is also used for detecting and locating steam and air leaks.
